Our clients want to rest their heads in one-of-a-kind properties - places that are a feast for the eyes and a balm for the senses. And so, in addition to looking for villas with superb views and exceptional facilities, we seek out innovative architecture, finely finished interiors and superior craftsmanship. But we also look for something extra – an indefinable quality that makes a property truly unique.
If walls could talk…
Every villa in our collection has a story to tell. Each has a tale that starts with a vision, that spans years of research and fine tuning designs, of sourcing materials and furniture from around the world, and of creating spaces where experiences are shared.
If walls could talk, Blondel Cove – a magnificent property with private beach access, its own dock, pickleball court and golf driving net - would tell of how its owners travelled to China to personally examine hundreds of stone slabs in order to select the magnificent pieces of onyx that are now centrepieces of the gleaming kitchen and master bathroom.
At Silver Sands you would hear about how, in order to protect both the beach and house from wave action, the owners built an artificial concrete reef in the bay and painstakingly transplanted live corals on to it. Today, this reef not only breaks the force of the sea but is also growing into a snorkel site in its own right.
Vision Beach’s stories would include fairy tales of cocktail tables fashioned from petrified tree stumps and Balinese doors turned into bespoke benches; there would be accounts of how the owners built a 400-bottle wine cellar, installed an outdoor billiards table, and personally tested every piece of furniture to make sure it was as comfortable as it was beautiful.
Hawksbill, a beachside retreat conceived as a place for various generations to gather, where each could enjoy a degree of privacy and independence, might whisper of a walnut tree on the owner’s North American property, that was felled and shaped into a unique coffee table and headboard, which were then shipped to the Caribbean to create a link between their homes.
Coming soon to our collection is Sole e Mare with many noteworthy features including chandeliers custom designed and made in Venice, Italy, and a grand second floor bar with glass walls on three sides that capture the wraparound views.
Luxury comes in all sizes
From one bedroom hideaways that provide all the romance and intimacy newlyweds could desire, to 11 bedroom estates, where large groups can gather under one roof for special celebrations, our villas come in all sizes.
All our villas must offer, as a minimum, a private, heated pool, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and kayaks and/or paddleboards, but beyond these essentials, the sky is the limit. Some of our larger villas’ amenities, such as chef’s kitchens, butler’s pantries and elevators, are reminiscent of British stately homes (right down to the staff) while others – such as the hot tubs, fitness rooms and tennis courts – ensure that guests have all the conveniences of a hotel at their personal disposal.
We consult extensively with villa owners (sometimes prior to construction) to ensure their properties work for our clientele. Not every property makes the grade, but those that do can safely be described as exceptional.
