What location will suit your party best?
On an island like Provo, it’s safe to assume that proximity to the beach will be near the top of your list. But do you want to be in one of the more developed neighbourhoods where you are within easy reach of restaurants, boutiques and marinas, or do you want to be somewhere more remote?
While most of our villas are concentrated in the Grace Bay area, for those who want to head off the beaten track properties such as Silver Sands and Bristol Bliss are directly on the beach, but well away from the main resort areas.
Do you envisage a gorgeous beach on your doorstep, and being able step from the house onto soft white sand? Hawksbill or Vision Beach are two expansive properties that enjoy prime beachfront positions and accommodate large groups, while Beach Cake and Beach Kandi are ideal for couples who want to be within earshot of the gently lapping sea.
How important is privacy to you?
Being directly on the beach is certainly dreamy but in some areas, it does mean other beachgoers will stroll past. If total privacy is key for you, then consider a villa such as Beach House, Aqua Verde or Marahuyo, which are set a little further back from the shore, and are therefore out of sight of passers-by.
What layout or configuration suits your party?
Large groups and multi-generational families have different wants and needs. Some want to maximise the time they can spend together, and so prefer expansive villas such as Saving Grace or Turquoise Villa which house everyone under one roof and enable the whole group to be together. Others prefer properties like Sentosa, which has plenty of space to spread out and enjoy moments alone, or guests can choose from any of our exclusive collection of villas to accommodate their needs, many of which feature separate buildings for enhanced privacy and independence during their stay.
Consider also whether any members of the party have specific needs. Do older family members with limited mobility require a bedroom on the first floor? Are there young children who need to sleep in close proximity to their parents? Is the location and layout safe for little ones?
What style makes you swoon?
This is your special vacation, so you deserve to be enveloped in sensational surroundings. From whimsical colonial to boldly contemporary, our villas run the gamut of architectural and design styles. Marahuyo and Sole e Mare, for instance, are sleek and modern while several of our other exclusive villas offer an Olive Messel-style design will transport you to the Caribbean of yesteryear.
Others, like Silver Sands offers what is arguably a more authentic Caribbean experience, with its open-to-the-elements design, unpretentious décor and gardens filled with native vegetation. For those who appreciate high design, fine finishes, attention to detail and impeccable service, Sentosa cannot fail to impress.
How do you want to fill your days?
For some a vacation is time to rest, relax and recharge; for others it’s a chance to explore the destination, try out new activities, and fill every moment with fun.
If unwinding in the warm Caribbean sun is what you seek, Solarah and Saving Grace offer privacy and tranquility, but if you plan on action-packed days then you’ll love all the amenities (think gym, tennis court, sports bar, pickleball, games rooms, pool tables, and more) on offer at properties such as Vision Beach, Salacia and Tranquility.
For thrill seekers, something to bear in mind is that Grace Bay is a National Park and therefore jet skis are not permitted in the area, so if being able to zoom around the bay from your villa, a property in a different neighbourhood will be more suitable.
